Job summary

Safe & Sound is Bradford's 24-hour community alarm service operated by Bradford Adult Services. We are seeking Casual Control Operators to act as the main contact for users, coordinating responses to meet individual needs across emergency and welfare calls.

Shifts include Early, Late and Night. You will work with internal and external agencies such as social care teams, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, NHS colleagues and Police, to ensure timely support.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience including telephone information/advice work and concise, legible writing.
• Experience of using computer systems/IT.
• Background or understanding of the social care sector desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and make deployment decisions per service level agreements.
• At least 3 GCSEs A-C including English, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• As Casual Control Operator, be the main point of contact for Safe & Sound users and coordinate responses.
• Work with internal agencies and external partners to assess needs and deploy support according to procedures.
