A leading healthcare service provider in Scotland is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care at rehabilitation hospitals. The role emphasizes patient-centred care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development. Essential qualifications include a Master of Pharmacy Degree and GPhC registration, along with a commitment to service improvement. NHS Lothian Pharmacy & Medicines Service – Findlay Community Hospital/Ferryfield Community Hospital (On-call rota and public holidays commitment included).
Part‑time post – salary pro‑rata.
This semi‑autonomous pharmacist will be based at Findlay Community Hospital and provide pharmacy cover for Ferryfield Community Hospital, delivering high‑quality clinical pharmacy services to rehabilitation patients. You will work independently as the dedicated pharmacist in the multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with the wider clinical pharmacy team at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and across NHS Lothian.
Findlay Community Hospital consists of two wards: Ward 1 provides hospital‑based complex clinical care for older adults with advanced dementia; Ward 2 offers intermediate care rehabilitation for elderly adults with mobility impairments and co‑morbidity. Ferryfield Community Hospital offers comparable ward services.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
