Job summary

Spectrum IT in Redhill is seeking a motivated 1st Line Support Technician to be the first point of contact for customers, owning requests from start to finish and driving resolutions rather than logging and passing tickets.

You'll work with Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization and hosted desktop environments, developing your technical skills with experienced colleagues and clear opportunities to progress within the business.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first-line IT support.
• Strong customer-facing communication.
• Able to log and manage tickets effectively.
• Willingness to learn and grow in IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for Windows and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day technical problems and log tickets.
• Keep customers updated throughout the resolution process.
• Escalate complex issues when required.
• Contribute to improving internal knowledge sharing and service desk processes.
