Job summary

ISR RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a 1st Line IT Engineer in Taunton to provide day-to-day IT support for staff. The role offers on-site work at the Taunton office and includes training across a range of IT tasks within a small busy IT department.

The package includes benefits and progression opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in IT, strong problem-solving skills and be comfortable with MS Office 365 and general IT equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm to learn new systems and skills; minimum 6 months experience in a commercial IT environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Confident in using MS operating systems and MS Office 365 products (Word, Outlook and Excel).
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to troubleshoot.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Understanding of a range of IT software and hardware.
• Provide 1st line support to all users offering help and guidance in operating systems and software.
• Develop skills across various areas of IT support and systems.
• Support the preparation, maintenance and refurbishment of IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to staff across the business.
• Assist with hardware, software and general IT issues.
• Receive training across a variety of tasks to gain broader IT experience.
• Ideal candidates should be based within commuting distance of Taunton.
