Job summary

Booker is hiring a delivery driver to work locally, loading at the branch and delivering to customers with a focus on reliability and service. You will be part of a delivery team operating 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 schedule, building relationships with regular customers and ensuring on-time deliveries.

You will need a CatC / 18T licence and at least two years of driving experience, along with good literacy and numeracy and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence required.
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver locally to regular customers and maintain relationships.
• Manage deliveries in a timely, courteous manner.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• CatC / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
