Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local branch team and help keep shelves stocked by loading goods and delivering to regular customers with excellent service.

You will be responsible for unloading and ensuring accurate paperwork for each delivery. This seven-day operation may include weekends and overtime opportunities, with a focus on safe, efficient deliveries and customer-friendly interactions.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T licence required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers shelves are stocked by loading stock into the vehicle at the branch and unloading at the customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver to regularly served customers and maintain a high standard of service.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for
