Job summary

Booker is hiring a part-time delivery driver to join our Exeter delivery team. You will be responsible for local deliveries, loading stock, and building relationships with regular customers to ensure timely, friendly service.

You will work part-time shifts, with some weekend work possible. Previous driving experience and strong literacy/numeracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence required.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Deliver to regular customers with timely service.
• Complete paperwork accurately.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on a part time contract, your shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
