Job summary

Booker in Aberdeen is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. You will work 45 hours per week, predominantly local deliveries, building relationships with regular customers and ensuring timely, friendly service.

The role involves loading at the branch, delivering to customer sites, and maintaining accurate paperwork. A CatC/18T licence and prior driving experience are essential, with weekend possibilities on a 5-from-7 pattern.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence required.
• At least two years' driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Keep shelves full with products for customers.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately.

About the role

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• CatC / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
