Job summary

Booker in the United Kingdom is looking for delivery drivers to join our local delivery team. Working 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 contract, you will drive locally and build relationships with our regular customers.

You will be responsible for keeping customers shelves stocked, loading stock at the branch and unloading at customer premises, and completing paperwork accurately. Cat B / 3.5T Licence and at least two years' driving experience are required, with delivery driving experience

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence required.
• Two years of driving experience is required; delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers shelves are stocked with products needed by their customers.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
