Job summary

Booker in Hull is seeking a delivery driver to join our local routes. You will work around 45 hours per week, delivering to our regular customers and helping keep shelves stocked with fresh stock. This role operates on an Any 5 from 7 shift pattern, with some weekend work.

You will load stock at the branch, drive safely, unload at customer premises, and complete paperwork accurately. CatC / 18T licence and at least two years driving experience required; delivery driving experience preferred;

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence is required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good level of literacy/numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• CatC / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
