Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of apetito Limited, is hiring a part-time, multi-skilled role (16 hours/week across 2 days in 6 with bank holidays). You will deliver frozen meals, pick/prepare orders, and provide telephone and administrative support to elderly customers, with pay at £13.45/hour plus bonus and benefits.

Role blends delivery, coldstore picking, and office-based customer service, requiring a full UK driving licence and strong communication. Training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service (face-to-face or telephone).
• full UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Computer literacy including phone apps and PC systems.
• Confident telephone manner and clear communication.
• Attention to detail; numerate and good written English.
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.
• Able to meet deadlines, manage time, and use initiative.
• Friendly, empathetic and patient; care about customers.
• Willing to work in a coldstore (-20°C) with PPE.
• Respectful of confidentiality and professional at all times.

Responsibilities

• Rotating schedule across office, coldstore and delivery; overtime may be required.
• Deliver frozen meals to customers on multi-drop routes; ensure on-time delivery.
• Undertake pre-shift vehicle checks and maintain vehicle; use delivery app for POD and ETAs.
• Handle delays or issues with empathy and contact the office promptly.
• Assist with local marketing activities to attract new customers.
• Support route planning and coordination with drivers; act as a link between drivers and customers.
