Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a driver to deliver frozen meals to customers in Whitstable. This role is 24 hours per week, spread over any 3 in 6 days, including bank holidays, with a -20C coldstore environment and provided protective clothing. You will join a friendly team and may assist other departments as needed.

You must have a full UK driving licence and customer service experience. The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.45) with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Helping the office team and picking team when required.
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers.
