Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is recruiting for a part-time role in Swindon to deliver meals, pick orders in coldstore, and provide office-based customer service. The role requires a full UK driving licence, computer literacy, and a warm, professional telephone manner.

You will work a 30-hour week across 5 of 6 days, with bank holidays included, and earn £13.45 per hour plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role (face-to-face or telephone).
• Full UK manual driving licence, held for at least 2 years.
• Computer literate, including phone apps and PC systems.
• Confident telephone manner with clear, adaptable communication.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; numerate and good written English.
• Reliable with evidence of good attendance and timekeeping.
• Able to work to deadlines, manage time, and use own initiative.
• Friendly, approachable, empathetic, and patient; genuinely caring.
• Respectful of confidentiality and professional at all times.
• Willing to work in a coldstore (-20ºC) with PPE and breaks provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers on multi-drop routes, safely and on time.
• Perform pre-shift vehicle checks and keep the van clean and roadworthy.
• Use the delivery app to update ETAs and proof of delivery.
• Handle discrepancies or delays with empathy and prompt office contact.
• Take customer orders via phone and internet, process payments and re-orders.
• Support route planning and collaborate with drivers on upcoming delivery days.
