Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children with SEND.
• Qualification Level 2/3 TA or Health & Social Care or Psychology degree.
• Calm, patient, and proactive approach to managing challenging behaviours.
• Experience using sensory strategies and visual aids is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual EHCP outcomes.
• Use sensory strategies and visual aids (e.g., PECS/Visual Timetables) to support learning and routine transitions.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
• Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external therapists to monitor progress.
