TeacherActive is working with a friendly SEND school in Trafford to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing 1:1 and classroom support to pupils across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on ASD, ADHD and PMLD needs.

The position is full-time and long-term from after October half term. You will assist with behaviour management and personal care where required, working closely with teachers to help every pupil reach their potential each school day.

Formación

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience working with pupils with ASD/ADHD.
• Confidence providing 1:1 and classroom support.
• Willingness to support with personal care where required.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and classroom support.
• Assist with behaviour management.
• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4 throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support learning.
