Job summary

Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant is sought to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism in a primary school in NW5. This role suits a confident SEND professional who understands autism and has experience with challenging behaviour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD.
• Proven experience handling challenging behaviour.
• Experience providing 1:1 support in school or specialist setting.
• Understanding of behaviour-support strategies.
• Ability to stay calm and consistent in difficult situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
