Senploy is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in Knowsley, Merseyside. The role is full-time and long-term with an ASAP start, working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and support staff to provide tailored one-to-one support throughout the school day.

You'll help the pupil develop communication, emotional regulation and learning routines using visual timetables, strategies, and personalised targets, while maintaining a safe, inclusive

Formación

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience supporting ASC, ADHD, SEMH or communication difficulties would be beneficial.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with children.

Responsabilidades

• Providing dedicated individual support during lessons and school activities.
• Adapting learning tasks to suit the pupil's abilities and understanding.
• Breaking instructions into clear, manageable steps.
• Supporting communication, concentration and classroom engagement.
• Helping the pupil manage transitions between lessons and activities.
• Recording progress and sharing observations with teaching staff.
• Maintaining a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
