Job summary

Senploy is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming school in Halton. You will provide personalised, one-to-one classroom support to a pupil with additional educational needs.

Your role includes supporting ASC, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, helping the pupil access lessons with adapted activities, and encouraging positive behaviour, communication and social interaction. You will work with teachers and the SENCO to review progress toward EHCP targets.

Qualifications

• Patient, understanding and emotionally resilient.
• Confident building positive relationships with children.
• Adaptable to different learning and communication needs.
• Calm and consistent in challenging situations.
• Experience in SEND, education, care, youth work or behaviour support.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent one-to-one classroom support.
