Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support for KS1 and KS2 pupils in Primary schools. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, assisting teachers with lessons and helping children develop confidence and engagement.

The role focuses on supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, and requires excellent communication and teamwork alongside patience and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, reliable and adaptable.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement.
• Support children with SEND (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language).
• Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
