Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD in Warrington is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs, including Cerebral Palsy. This full‑time temporary role starts ASAP and runs term time only.

You will mentor and support the pupil 1:1, assist the tutor during sessions, supervise homework and scribing, and build positive relationships to drive learning outcomes. GCSEs/Level 2 TA preferred; enhanced DBS welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong basic education with GCSEs in English and Maths.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or with pupils who have additional needs.
• DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
• Evidence of behaviour management and reliability.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities in school activities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support the pupil 1:1 to promote learning.
• Support the tutor during sessions and activities.
• Supervise homework and provide scribing assistance during tuition.
• Build positive relationships to drive interaction and outcomes.
