About You and this Role
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a knack for storytelling?
Liferay is looking for a Sales Engineer to help shape the digital future of businesses across Spain and Portugal. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the bridge between cutting-edge technology and real-world business needs.

What you'll do:
  1. Build Killer Demos: Create jaw-dropping demos that showcase the power of Liferay's platform.
  2. Craft Compelling Proposals: Develop persuasive proposals that address client pain points and highlight the value of our solutions.
  3. Become a Tech Evangelist: Share your passion for Liferay technology with potential customers and partners.
  4. Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with our talented sales team to drive deals and exceed targets.
  5. Learn and Grow: Continuously develop your technical skills and sales expertise through ongoing training and mentorship.
  6. Travel 25-40% for on-site engagements with prospects, customers and partners.
What we're looking for:
  1. Technical Prowess: A solid understanding of web technologies (Java, JavaScript, etc.) and a passion for learning new things.
  2. Communication Skills: The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for identifying challenges and crafting innovative solutions.
  4. A Positive Attitude: A can-do spirit and a love for working with people.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or equivalent level of demonstrated experience
  2. 10+ years designing/implementation/consulting experience with web based applications and/or Digital Experience Platforms/CMS
  3. Experience presenting to both large and small audiences (Executives, IT Management, and developers)
  4. Experience with business requirements gathering, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, development, testing, and deployment.
  5. Excellent French and English (reading, writing and speaking)
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Liferay technologies or similar solutions
  2. Experience with front end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Angular) and portal/portlet development.
  3. 2+ years working experience as a Sales Engineer in a software vendor company
  4. Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
  5. Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently lead technical and/or business discussions
  6. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  7. Industry expert in at least one particular domain, vertical or platform: DXP, Cloud, Security, etc.
  8. Holding a Demo / Presales certification is a plus
