Are you the Senior Quant Trader who can contribute to the growth of the quantitative trading team at WEBB?

WEBB Traders is looking for a Senior Quantitative Trader in Paris who is able to work together in a team to create new trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute systematic data-driven strategies in financial markets
2. Work closely together with other Trading Teams, IT Development and the Risk department
3. Continue building towards a more automated and data-driven trading environment and make it scalable and future proof
4. Contribute to all aspects of the trading desk activities, including position reconciliation, risk management tasks, and post trade analysis
5. Report key results of the team to the management board
6. Effectively and critically challenge others when necessary

Requirements:

1. Demonstrable ability to build profitable quantitative strategies with a long term Sharpe Ratio of 3+
2. Strong mathematical background like mathematics, statistics, econometrics, finance or computer sciences
3. Experience with Python and/or other languages, such as C++
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Quantitative Trading
5. Very creative and able to come up with new trading ideas
6. A driven, innovative, and enterprising team player with strong leadership skills, capable of managing projects end-to-end, coordinating effectively with other teams and ensuring seamless execution
7. A strong analytical thinker, risk tolerant, stress resistant and up-to-date with latest developments
