Job Description:

Our Cardiovascular and Specialty Solutions entity is currently seeking an Application Engineer in Electrophysiology, based in Nice, to cover the following geographical area: 06 and Monaco, with travel outside the sector expected.

General Missions:

The Application Engineer in Electrophysiology, in close collaboration with the sector manager responsible for business development, is responsible for training medical staff on the assembly and use of the cardiac mapping system and assisting doctors during procedures (on the choice of equipment and software capabilities based on clinical pathology), in all establishments in their region, both public and private. By developing knowledge of electrophysiology, from a clinical and technical perspective, they will be able to provide healthcare professionals with effective clinical support for J&J MedTech Electrophysiology's cardiac mapping system. They are responsible for ensuring that clinical activities are carried out efficiently and on time according to the strategy defined by management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leverage your knowledge in electrophysiology.
• Achieve objectives (qualitative, quantitative) within the agreed timelines.
• Communicate and interact with healthcare professionals effectively, providing optimal support with the J&J MedTech Electrophysiology cardiac mapping system.
• Have a thorough understanding of the technical and clinical aspects of the Electrophysiology product range and share it effectively with clients.
• Monitor center activities, competitive intelligence, and provide accurate and reliable reports.
• Plan and execute the launch of new products in centers in synergy with the application engineer and the sales representative of the center.
• Act in accordance with the credo and codes of conduct for commercial operations.
• Develop a long-term partnership with clients by providing effective support during electrophysiology procedures.
• In collaboration with the sector manager, target the right establishments to successfully launch new products related to the use of the cardiac mapping system.

Qualifications

Profile and Skills:

• Bac + 5, Scientific training (Engineering school or equivalent) or medical/paramedical.
• Proven and successful experience of at least 3 years in a similar position in electrophysiology.
• Perfect knowledge of this clientele (cardiologists, biomedical engineers, pharmacists, nurses) and the hospital environment in both public and private sectors.
• Strong interest in new technologies and product demonstrations to develop their sales.
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of scientific data.
• Very good level of English (written and spoken).
