EMBL Grenoble is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide first-level desktop support and manage Windows backend services in a diverse international user community. You will handle macOS, Windows and Linux support, plus video-conferencing and enterprise deployments.
The role requires at least 2 years in IT support, a computer science degree or equivalent, and strong English/French communication.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on with Windows, Linux and macOS in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with AD, Exchange and Microsoft 365 services.
Responsabilités
- Provide desktop support for macOS, Windows, and Linux and mobile devices.
- Support video-conferencing events and systems.
- Manage deployments using SCCM, JAMF Pro and other tools.
- Configure user environments: accounts, network access, printing, email.
- Diagnose hardware/software issues across platforms.
- Deliver a responsive helpdesk with focus on user satisfaction.
- Track and manage support requests following ITSM practices.
- Contribute to continuous IT services improvement.
