Job summary

Gameloft is launching preproduction on a new Unreal Engine project. You will dive under the hood to understand why things break and set best practices for the team, becoming the go-to Unreal Engine expert and the technical partner on coding standards.

You will develop engine systems in C++, diagnose issues, ensure TRC compliance, and implement performance-tracking using Unreal APIs or Gauntlet, while monitoring performance with Unreal Insights and sharing recommendations with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Unreal Engine experience.
• Hands-on Unreal Insights for performance diagnostics.
• Knowledge of console TRC requirements.
• Professional French and English in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Become the team Unreal Engine expert and set coding standards.
• Develop engine systems in C++ for the game project.
• Diagnose and fix existing issues and anticipate future ones.
• Own TRC compliance across all platforms.
• Set up a performance-tracking system using Unreal APIs or Gauntlet.
• Monitor performance with Unreal Insights and share recommendations.
