Gameloft in Paris is launching preproduction on a new Unreal Engine project. You’ll be the go-to Unreal Engine expert, diving under the hood to understand issues and setting coding standards for the whole team to follow.
You’ll develop engine systems in C++, diagnose and fix technical challenges, own TRC compliance across platforms, and establish a performance-tracking workflow using Unreal Insights and Gauntlet for continuous improvement.
We're launching preproduction on a new project built on Unreal Engine. Your role: be the person who can dive deep under the hood of the engine to understand why something isn't working — and the one who sets the best practices so the whole team gets the most out of it.
You’ll know the engine well enough to open it up, find what’s really going on, and turn every fix into a practice the whole team can build on:
The GPPs come to you naturally and know they can count on you. Your documentation on engine processes and best practices becomes a go-to reference for the team, you've taken ownership of TRC and performance issues, and you know how to dive deep into the engine whenever it's needed.
You'll report to our Gameplay Director, work closely with our Gameplay Lead, Studio Technical Director and the whole GPP team.
You’re the person teammates come to when things get stuck, and you like leaving them better equipped than you found them.
You’ve spent real time under Unreal’s hood, and you’re comfortable when the answer isn’t in the docs.
By building recognized engine expertise on Unreal, you're set to become the studio's technical reference on the subject — with real potential to grow into a lead or engine architect role.
