Job summary

Gameloft is seeking an Unreal Engine expert to lead engine development in C++ and define best practices for the team. You will become the go-to engineer for the GPP unit, ensuring TRC compliance and robust performance across platforms.

You will work closely with gameplay leadership to diagnose issues, build engine systems, and share knowledge to uplift the whole team. Proficiency in both French and English is required to collaborate across international studios.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ and Unreal Engine, able to dig under engine hood.
• Experience with console TRC standards and requirements.
• Hands-on use of Unreal Insights for performance diagnostics.
• Professional French and English; daily use of English in workflow.

Responsibilities

• Be the Unreal Engine subject-matter expert and establish coding standards for the team.
• Develop engine systems in C++ to support the GPP team.
• Diagnose and fix engine issues, anticipate future problems.
• Own TRC compliance across platforms and monitor performance with Unreal Insights.
