Stripe in Paris is seeking a Commercial Counsel for the EMEA region. You will architect legal frameworks that enable global commerce, negotiate strategic deals, and guide regulatory compliance around hosted data and technology services.

French and English fluency is essential. With 7+ years of experience, you will collaborate with product, tax, privacy, and risk teams in a hybrid, in-office setting to scale Stripe’s business while protecting the company from risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a lawyer in-house or in a technology practice group in a top law firm.
• High professional fluency in French and English.
• Experience with hosted data and technology services.

Responsabilités

• Bridge the gap: translate complex legal jargon into actionable business advice for regional sales leaders.
• Build infrastructure: create scalable playbooks and automated contracting processes to support rapid expansion.
• Navigate complexity: work with cross-functional teams (product, tax, privacy, risk) to ensure features or market entries are legally sound.
