Pennylane is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Contracts to join our Legal, Compliance & Risk team. You will partner with Sales, Partnerships, Security and Product to draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements across Europe.

In this role you’ll streamline contracting processes, develop templates and playbooks, and help build a scalable, business‑minded legal culture. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French/German is a plus.

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with extensive contract-law experience in IP/IT, SaaS.
Fluent in English; working knowledge of French and German.
Strong experience with B2B SaaS agreements and data provisions.
Proven ability to manage multi-jurisdictional contracts across Europe.
Autonomous, end-to-end contract ownership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

Draft, negotiate and manage commercial and operational agreements.
Improve contracting processes, templates and playbooks to scale.
Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Finance, Security and Product teams.
Anticipate regulatory impacts (e.g., e-invoicing, EU AI Act) and ensure compliance.
Train non-legal teams and contribute to a strong legal culture.
