Stripe, the global payments platform, is seeking a senior transactional lawyer to join our commercial legal team supporting our fast-growing business in EMEA. You’ll lead negotiations, draft agreements, and advise on a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues, enabling Stripe to scale efficiently.

You will collaborate with sales, privacy, product, tax, and risk teams, develop internal playbooks, and mentor junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a lawyer in-house or in a technology practice group.
• Intellectually curious and a creative problem solver in a complex, evolving industry.
• Self-starter with ownership and proactive approach.
• Clear, concise communicator in written and verbal forms.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Support the EMEA sales team, leading negotiations and advising on a wide range of commercial and legal issues.
• Be an integral part of building Stripe's commercial legal infrastructure to scale operations and processes.
• Collaborate with teams across Stripe including sales, privacy, operations, product, tax, and risk.
• Develop and deliver training and other resources to help the Sales team sell our products.
• Be a point of escalation for outside counsel.
