Sotheby’s in Paris leads business management across Global Fine Arts and Luxury divisions, supporting Paris and Middle East sale locations. You will partner with specialists on P&L management, forecasting, and deal execution to drive revenue and profitability.

You can think analytically, synthesize data, and proactively solve problems while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external clients across high-value auctions and private sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of professional experience in business management, banking, financial or consulting.
• Written and spoken French and English.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to present to diverse stakeholders.
• Prior deal or contract negotiation experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the pipeline of all deals to drive sales and accountability in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Support, manage, and track all auction consignments and related legal agreements with Legal team.
• Assist annual budget planning and regular forecasting with Paris Business Management.
• Develop revenue and expense models to support consignments for all revenue streams.
• Prepare client-facing communications and negotiate commercial terms when required.
• Act as a primary business contact for negotiations with consignors, vendors, or consultants, with Legal oversight.
• Translate financial results and KPIs into actionable operational recommendations.
• Manage all sale and department expenses with senior oversight.
• Review inventory plans with Operations and Finance teams.
