Overstory is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles worldwide. You will partner with leadership to define roles, shape hiring strategies, and build strong candidate pipelines across multiple geographies, ensuring a positive candidate experience and a scalable recruiting motion.

You’ll collaborate with a senior People team to optimize processes, brand, and systems, while championing our mission-driven culture and remote-first environment across teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth tech startups.
• Proven track record closing hard-to-find technical talent.
• Thrive in a fast-moving startup culture and wear multiple hats.
• Trusted hiring partner that influences hiring decisions effectively.
• Tech savvy; applies AI to improve recruiting.
• Experience building scalable recruiting systems and tooling.
• Experience hiring across multiple geographies in remote-first environments.
• Passionate about our climate mission.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from definition to offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to shape role requirements and strategies.
• Build and maintain pipelines through sourcing and networking.
• Guide candidates through a thoughtful interview process across timezones.
• Build and refine systems, brand and network to scale recruiting.
• Use data and feedback to continuously optimize hiring practices.
• Act as a culture ambassador and trusted partner aligned with company values.
• Contribute across the people team in a lean, fast-paced environment.
