Jobgether is seeking a Staff Backend Software Engineer based in France to lead the design and delivery of a mission-critical transaction platform. You will focus on secure cryptocurrency transfers across institutions, building scalable Go-based services and deep PostgreSQL data models.

You will mentor engineers, shape architectural decisions, and collaborate with product, compliance, and customer teams in a remote-first setting. This role emphasizes reliability, security, and auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of backend engineering experience encompassing end-to-end delivery.
• Strong distributed systems design with focus on reliability and correctness.
• Proficiency in Go, or production experience with Java, Kotlin, Rust, or C# and willingness to ship Go code.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge including schema design and multi-tenant data management.
• Cloud experience with AWS or GCP, IAM, networking and managed databases.
• Experience using AI coding agents, writing specs, and providing context.
• Solid security fundamentals for data in transit and at rest.
• Clear written communication for remote collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of a distributed transaction platform.
• Build resilient systems ensuring data integrity, tenant isolation, and auditability.
• Improve scalability as volumes and institutions grow while preserving latency.
• Produce technical design docs and provide architecture reviews.
• Integrate AI coding agents into daily workflows and ensure production safety.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and customer teams to meet regulatory needs.
• Take end-to-end ownership of production systems including incident response.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations for platform reliability.
