Job summary

GitGuardian is a Paris-based cybersecurity scale-up seeking a senior Django-focused backend engineer. You will own end-to-end delivery for platform features, including authentication, provisioning, RBAC, and APIs, while coordinating with a 3-senior-engineer team and cross-functional stakeholders.

You will mentor peers and help shape architecture for a large Django monolith. You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days/week in Paris) with stock options, health benefits for families, and access to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in Django (or Python web framework).
• Experience building web applications, task orchestration, distributed systems, and large data flows.
• Ability to own a project end-to-end from scoping to monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Code daily and own end-to-end delivery of projects (scoping, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring).
• Mentor junior engineers and drive quality standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions impacting the platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to deliver features at scale.
