Job summary

GitGuardian, Paris-based cybersecurity scale-up, seeks a senior web engineer. You will own end-to-end delivery of core features, tackle backend performance, and bring AI to production in product workflows. You will mentor juniors, participate in cross-team design reviews, and support deployments on duty.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Python web development, strong Django/Celery experience, and hands-on Kubernetes, AWS, and data tooling. Hybrid Paris office.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of web software development with strong Python.
• Experience with web apps, task orchestration and distributed systems.
• Autonomous, proactive, analytical with strong collaboration.
• Strong English communication, written or spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of projects and features with the PM.
• Tackle complex backend performance and reliability problems.
• Bring AI to production in the product and workflows.
• Mentor juniors, review peers' code, propose conventions.
• Engage in cross-team design reviews and stack decisions.
• Participate in on-duty support and deployments.
