GitGuardian in Paris seeks an experienced Django/Python web developer to own end-to-end delivery of platform features. You will scope with product and design, design technically, implement, deploy and monitor in production while raising engineering standards across the team.
You will collaborate with backend, frontend, and infra engineers in a hybrid Paris-based setup, contributing to high-quality, scalable systems and bilingual communication in English and French.
GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, New York City, Boston.
Our early investors include Scott Chacon, co-founder of GitHub, and Solomon Hykes, co-founder of Docker, alongside leading US and European VC firms. We raised our Series C in early 2026.
GitGuardian leads the way in securing the credential layer, helping organizations protect the secrets that let code, machines, and AI agents access systems with broad detection, identity context, and remediation at scale. Already trusted by 600K+ developers worldwide and by 50 of the Fortune 500!
The Core Squad is responsible for the logical layer that all other GitGuardian teams build on top of. When a customer deploys our platform across thousands of developers, our code is what determines whether everything scales: authentication, permissions, provisioning, notifications, APIs, billing. None of this can break, and everything needs to operate at scale.
You will code every day and own the end-to-end delivery of projects: scoping with the PM and designer, technical design, implementation, deployment, monitoring. You own what you ship, including in production.
Beyond your own delivery, you will help raise the engineering bar across the team: reviewing your peers’ code, mentoring more junior engineers, driving quality standards, and contributing to technical decisions when designs impact our broader platform.
The team currently consists of 3 senior engineers (backend, frontend, full-stack), 1 engineering manager, 1 product manager, and 1 designer.
