Job summary

Sophos is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the France sales force, supporting the cycle from a technical perspective. You will translate customer requirements into Sophos solutions, provide product trials, and deliver compelling demonstrations to partners and customers.

Based in Paris with travel across France, you will train partners, engage with the Technical Buyer, and work with product management and Sophos Labs to capture feedback.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience providing software technical support to channel partners and end users.
• Strong networking and endpoint security knowledge.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience with pre-sales activities and technical demonstrations.
• Willingness to travel across France and work in a Paris-based role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor and technical lead on Sophos products and services opportunities.
• Conduct trainings and speak at Sophos events and industry groups.
• Provide remote engagements, product demonstrations, and Q&A about offerings.
• Deliver presale technical expertise to Sales teams and partners.
• Own and maintain demonstration software and tools for up-to-date demos.
• Develop and deliver custom training for prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Support teams.
