Pennylane is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Contracts to partner with Sales, Partnerships, Security, Finance and Product teams across Europe. You will draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of international commercial agreements, from drafting through to signature and post‑signature follow‑up, helping to scale contract processes and playbooks in a fast‑growing fintech.

The role can be hybrid from Paris or fully remote in France or Germany, and requires strong expertise in B2B SaaS contracts

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contract law (IP/IT, SaaS).
• Fluent English; working knowledge of French and German.
• Experience in multi‑jurisdictional environments across Europe.
• Strong ability to manage contracts from drafting to signature.
• Experience with contract management tools and processes.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate international contracts outside France, currently focusing on Germany.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Streamline contracting processes and collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Finance and Product teams.
• Contribute to legal operations and technology initiatives for scalable contracting.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to cross-functional teams and train non‑legal staff.
