Pennylane is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Contracts to partner with Sales, Partnerships and Product teams across Europe. You will draft, negotiate and manage international contracts, supplier agreements and customer terms, while driving scalable contracting processes and playbooks.

Based in a hybrid Paris area role or remote in France or Germany, you will contribute to Pennylane’s rapid growth and ensure compliant, business-savvy contracting across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contract law, ideally in IP/IT, tech or SaaS.
• Fluent in English with working knowledge of French and German.
• Strong expertise in B2B SaaS agreements, including IP, indemnification, liability caps, SLAs and data provisions.
• Autonomous, capable of managing matters from start to finish.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional environments across France and Europe.
• Interest in operations/tech and contract-management tooling.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate international contracts and related agreements.
• Improve customer, reseller, and integrator agreements across France and Europe.
• Lead optimization of contracting processes and tools (Tomorro, Pivot, Notion).
• Provide pragmatic advice to Sales, Partnerships, Finance, Security and Product teams.
• Train non-legal teams and build a strong legal culture.
