Job summary

Angst+Pfister seeks a Sales Application Engineer Sealing Technology to drive growth in France. You will identify opportunities, build strong customer networks, and manage from proposal to contract while collaborating with engineers to meet demanding sealing tech applications.

Role requires a mechanical engineering background, sealing expertise, and a hunter mindset. Travel within France is expected; French native with English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with commercial experience.
• Experience in sealing with O-rings, molded parts, rotary shaft seals, focusing on France.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Hunter mindset and growth orientation.
• Based in France, ideally near Paris or Lyon; willing to travel.
• Fluent English; French native; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across France.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and prospects.
• Manage the sales process from proposal to contract negotiation.
• Leveraging customer environments to identify business opportunities.
• Lead customer relationship management and handle complaints efficiently.
• Collaborate with product application engineers to meet customer expectations.
• Visit clients regularly to expand the customer base.
