Angst+Pfister seeks a Sales Application Engineer Sealing Technology to drive growth in France. You will identify opportunities, build strong customer networks, and manage from proposal to contract while collaborating with engineers to meet demanding sealing tech applications.

Role requires a mechanical engineering background, sealing expertise, and a hunter mindset. Travel within France is expected; French native with English fluency is essential.

Qualificações

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with commercial experience.
• Experience in sealing with O-rings, molded parts, rotary shaft seals, focusing on France.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Fluent English; French native; Spanish a plus.

YOUR MISSION:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, expand our customer base, and strengthen our market position throughout France.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Manage the sales process from proposal to contract negotiation, ensuring profitability and optimal gross margins for Angst+Pfister.
• Use your knowledge of customer environments and needs to identify business opportunities.
• Lead customer relationship management, ensuring prompt and efficient handling of customer complaints.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product application engineers, to ensure success and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in external sales activities by regularly visiting clients and prospects and expanding the customer base.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, with huge commercial experience and skills.
• You have well experienced in sealing with O-rings, molded parts, rotary shaft seals, and other sealing technologies with a strong focus on the France market.
• You know how to build strong networks with purchasing and design departments and understand customer decision-making processes.
• You can read and interpret technical drawings to support project discussions and sales efforts.
• You are a problem-solver who embraces complex challenges and is always seeking new business development opportunities.
• You have a "hunter" mindset—always looking for growth and market expansion.
• You are French native speaker, fluent in English and speaking Spanish is a plus for working with international clients.
• You are based in France – ideally near Paris (close to our main headquarters) or Lyon.
• This role requires travel and flexibility to meet customer expectations.
