Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for South-West France. This field-based role focuses on supporting the Klauke portfolio and building strong customer relationships across a defined territory with daily travel within the region.

You will work to understand customer needs, deliver technical and commercial support, and develop opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales process.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to understand electrical products and customer applications.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout South-West France.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in French; English for product training and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of the Klauke portfolio across South-West France.
• Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, electrical contractors, utilities, and industrial end users.
• Understand customer applications and propose suitable solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Conduct visits, product demonstrations, and training; prepare quotations and proposals; negotiate agreements.
