Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead two outbound SDR teams for Payment Acceptance and Spend, covering French SMB and Mid‑Market accounts. You will set the rhythm, coach, and build processes to improve pipeline quality and volume.

In a highly hands-on role, you will work with reps on territories, messaging, sequences and training, plus personally making outbound calls to model best practices in the competitive French market. Hybrid Paris office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of B2B sales experience, including meaningful SDR/BDR leadership.
• Experience running outbound motions across SMB and Mid-Market accounts.
• Strong cold-calling and multi-channel prospecting skills.
• Proven track record coaching reps and improving performance.
• Experience building territories, sequences, and sales playbooks.
• Comfort discussing activity, pipeline, conversion and win rate.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Payment Acceptance and Spend SDR teams across SMB and Mid-Market.
• Build territories, account lists, sequences and outbound plays by segment and use case.
• Establish standards for activity, qualification, meeting prep, follow-up and handover.
• Run regular 1:1s, call reviews, role plays, and training.
• Track pipeline metrics and translate insights into coaching and process improvements.
• Create and maintain outbound playbooks and competitive messaging.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, AEs, Marketing, RevOps to optimize data and routing.
• Join call blocks to demonstrate strong cold calling and objection handling.
