Job summary

Alice & Bob is a frontier tech startup in Paris developing a quantum computer and growing rapidly. We seek a Senior People Operations Specialist to automate the employee lifecycle, optimize HRIS, and partner with business teams to scale our People function globally.

You will drive automation projects, ensure data quality, and support payroll while leading transformation initiatives with measurable KPIs. Fluency in English and French is preferred; remote work options are available.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in People Operations / HR operations, including process automation or HR systems.
Strong knowledge of HRIS and data management; experience in startup or scale-up settings.
Ability to manage complex projects end-to-end with a business mindset.
Proficient in English; French fluency is highly valued due to local compliance.
Experience with Payfit/Lucca or similar HR tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Automate the employee lifecycle from pre-onboarding to offboarding with a client-centric approach.
Map processes and remove manual tasks via workflows and integrations between HR, recruitment and IT tools.
Administer and evolve HR data and HRIS, driving improvements and deployment.
Ensure operational excellence and compliance; monitor and improve automation long-term.
Support payroll and handle complex operational cases with stakeholder coordination.
Lead HR projects, define KPIs and track adoption and quality metrics.
