Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Python Developer in France for a fully remote role focused on payment processing systems and third-party integrations. You will work across backend and frontend services, designing secure APIs and leveraging FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The role includes integrating AI-assisted development tools and collaborating with external payment providers to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of commercial Python development experience in production environments.
• Experience with AI-powered coding tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) or similar.
• Strong experience with FastAPI or Django for web apps and APIs.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio, async/await).
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL; experience with MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployment/operations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, testable code and perform code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend services using Python for high performance and scalability.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs for payments and third-party integrations.
• Integrate PSPs and manage payment workflows and callbacks.
• Ensure secure processing of transactions and data protection.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and implement reliability improvements.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews and releases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to resolve integration issues.
