Job summary

MyVA Support (MyVAS) seeks a skilled Tax Accountant to join our remote international service team. You will focus on Florida state tax compliance, payments, and returns, while supporting strategic tax planning.

The position is remote for LATAM-based bilingual candidates (Spanish/English). A Bachelor's in accounting is required; CPA/CMA preferred. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA preferred for seniority and compliance responsibilities.
• Experience with Florida state tax rules and reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tax payments and estimates.
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
• Maintain and update tax database.
• Recommend tax strategies aligned with business goals.
• Prepare documentation for tax payments and returns.
• Collaborate with accounting to share financial data.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and profit increase.
• Stay informed about tax trends and legislative changes.
• Coordinate with auditors.
• Provide tax forecasting to senior management.
