MyVA Support (MyVAS) is seeking a Remote Bookkeeper for a law firm, working from home. The role covers billing, accounts, payroll, and reporting as a contract position with international service provisions.

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with English language requirements for client communications. Candidates must be able to manage their own social security and tax contributions in Colombia and have experience in bookkeeping, ideally with familiarity in accounting software and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping; experience in a law firm is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good English communication skills.
• C1 level English is preferred.
• Must be able to manage your own social security and tax contributions in Colombia.

Responsabilités

• Set up and manage client accounts, handle invoicing.
• Oversee monthly retainer billing and issue final statements.
• Process payments, prepare bank deposits, and maintain daily financial records.
• Perform account reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting.
• Handle payroll and all expense transactions.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with our team for financial planning and insights.
