Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory, ensuring warranty obligations and customer satisfaction.

The role requires time served expertise in electro-mechanical systems, strong customer service, communication and time management, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and participate in new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or 5 years equivalent experience; or 3 years plus Master’s; or PhD without experience.
• Strong written and verbal English; strong communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationships with surgeons and hospital staff preferred.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Teaching and presentation skills; strong administrative/record-keeping skills.

Responsabilités

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Intuitive products in assigned territory.
• Perform system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products per procedures and timeframes.
• Coordinate and perform system/hardware delivery and installation.
• Maintain inventory, field activity reports, and expense reports within deadlines.
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers over time.
• Support sales with trade shows and hospital contacts as needed.
• Participate in new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
