Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products in your assigned territory, ensuring service agreements and warranties are fulfilled.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform regional administrative tasks, and participate in new product introductions and process improvements. This role requires experience with electro-mechanical systems and excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in science or technical engineering or equivalent, or 5 years equivalent work experience or 3 years experience and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
• Strong written and oral communication in local language(s) and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of Intuitive Surgical products, with time served.
• Teaching and presentation skills.
• Strong administrative and record keeping skills.
• Knowledge of Operating Room protocol preferred.
• Track record of solid customer relationships with Surgeons and Hospital staff preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–70%, depending on account distribution and region.

Responsabilités

• Senior da Vinci Surgical technical expert across all system platforms.
• Perform all types of scheduled maintenance activities for your assigned territory including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Intuitive products and related equipment within your territory, per procedures and timeframes.
• Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Complete administrative duties: spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, RMAs, expense reports on time.
• Maintain all company assets (tooling, vehicles, laptops, tablets).
• Provide support to Sales teams and hospital contacts; assist with trade shows and hospital calls.
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Complete required training in Intuitive products and University courses as required.
• Maintain territory by responding to customer needs and sustaining install bases and training events.
