Intuitive is hiring a Field Service Engineer 3 to install, support, and repair our surgical systems in the assigned territory. The role emphasizes time management, customer service, and mentoring junior engineers while contributing to new product introductions and process improvements.

The position requires electro-mechanical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 70% as needed, with on-site collaboration as requested by leadership.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree or 5 years equivalent experience, or 3 years with Master’s or PhD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and local language
• Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills
• Solid knowledge of electro-mechanical systems with time served
• Teaching and presentation abilities
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills
• Willingness to travel 50–70% across the territory

Responsabilités

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory.
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers and perform regional admin tasks.
• Participate in new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery, installation, and customer training events.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle, laptops, and other assets in good condition.
• Support sales teams with trade shows and field activities as needed.
